Due to the success of our Infant Burns Ceilidh on Friday 25th January we would like to invite all the P1-P3 parents to a second performance tomorrow at 1.30 p.m.
The pupils will recite poems, sing songs and perform dances. Everyone can wear something tartan for this event, if they wish.
Parents are welcome to join in with the P1/2, P2/3 and P3 dances.
Thank you to all of the P7 helpers, parents and staff who came along to Tesco at the weekend to help us bag pack.
The children raised an incredible £685! This brings our fundraising total to just over £2000.
We have another bag pack planned for the end of February (23rd and 24th) and would love some more helpers.
We hope to see you at the Residential Information Session on 7th February.
On the 11th of February we are going to hold ‘’Be Bright Be Seen’’ day at school.
- Everyone is encouraged to dress as brightly as possible.
- Bring any fluorescent and reflective items you have at home as we are going to dress up one person in each class with as many items as possible. The brightest person will win 10 minutes extra playtime for their class.
- ‘’Brighten Your Bike’ competition – add bright and reflective items to your bike. The brightest bike will win!
On Monday the 28th of January P6 children will have extra time in the swimming pool.
This will be P6’s last swimming slot.
There are Chromebook Training Information sessions running today. All parents welcome.
These will take place in the classroom in the old building .
We had hoped to send a text as a reminder but unfortunately the service is down.
Thank you for your support.
We have arranged bag packing at Tesco Metro on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th January to help raise funds for the Primary 7 Residential Trip.
Saturday 26th 10am-4pm
Sunday 27th 11am-4pm
If your child is able to help at all that would be great. We would love some parent helpers too!
I will send letters home on Monday to check availability, if you can return them on Tuesday 22nd January so we can organise a rota and get this back to you next week that would be super. Or, if easier, you can send a note into the school on Monday with availabilty.
Thank you for your continued support,
Mrs S Gibb
