We have arranged bag packing at Tesco Metro on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th January to help raise funds for the Primary 7 Residential Trip.
Saturday 26th 10am-4pm
Sunday 27th 11am-4pm
If your child is able to help at all that would be great. We would love some parent helpers too!
I will send letters home on Monday to check availability, if you can return them on Tuesday 22nd January so we can organise a rota and get this back to you next week that would be super. Or, if easier, you can send a note into the school on Monday with availabilty.
Thank you for your continued support,
Mrs S Gibb
Robert Burns lunch is on Friday 25th January.

P6 and P7 pupils welcomed a special Visitor from the Scottish Parliament this week.
The children learned what matters are devolved in Scotland and the names of the major Scottish parties. They took part in a debate about the speed limit near schools.
Their votes will be presented to the debating chamber.
A very big thank you to all the museum staff for hosting P1 and P1/2 pupils at their Dinosaur exhibition. They gave us a lot information about Dinosaurs during our visits on Tuesday and Thursday.
The highlight was definitely the clay “fossil” footprint that we made and to discovered that some of the fossils in the Exhibition were found on The Isle of Skye, Scotland.
We used our looking and listening skills to spot many different things during our visit. There was lots of information shared and questions asked.
Thanks also to the parent helpers who came along with us and helped keep us safe on our trip.
Here are a few pictures of serious palaeontologists at work 😉
Don´t forget to share your highlights of the trip with your family.
On Wednesday the children took part in Pedal-Powered Cinema.
All the electricity for the event was produced by the cyclists.
The pupils’ energy and enthusiasm made a powered pedal cinema a huge success!
A massive thank you for Sustrans team for providing the equipment.
As part of our Chromebook roll-out we are running two parent information sessions on how children and adults can stay safe online.
There will also be opportunities to ask questions about the Chromebook roll-out.
Parents are invited to attend either the first session, which will run from 1.45pm-2.30pm or the second session, which will run from 6.30pm-7.15pm.
Both sessions will run on Thursday 24th of January.
