End of Term Update

Hello everyone,

Term ends today after a short and lovely last week. A huge thank you to everyone in our school community for helping us all to stay safe and well despite the many challenges of Covid in recent weeks. Your vigilance and commitment to hygiene practices and testing has been wonderful and greatly appreciated by the team.

Our P1 and nursery children performed The Nativity outside on Tuesday. It was an enthusiastic production despite the chilly temperature. This was posted on See Saw for families however I would like to remind folk not to share this on any social media platform. Many thanks and well done to all the children and staff involved for keeping Christmas spirits bright.

Grateful thanks to everyone who donated to our 12 Days of Christmas Reverse Advent Calendar. These donations will be given to the Salvation Army who will distribute to folks in the community.

Next term our anniversary project Central Two Centuries will continue in partnership with Highlife Highland Archive Centre and Eden Court. An entry from the school log book 120 years ago was posted on the Archive Centre’s Facebook page this week. if you would like to read the post please follow the link below

We are mindful this time of year can be tricky for folk, especially those who have experienced loss however our team wish you all a lovely break and hope everyone is able to safely enjoy time with family and friends.

We look forward to seeing everyone again when we return to school on Thursday 6th January 2022.

Please find attached some photos from Seesaw this week.

Warm wishes,

Mrs Fraser
