Friday Update

Happy Friday everyone,

Hope you are all well and staying safe.  It feels like our new term has really started this week and has flown by. It is good to see the days now stretching a bit.

Parent Council

Our next Parent Council meeting scheduled for 27th January needs to be postponed.  We will advise you of the new date soon.

Connect Us

We are excited to be in the process of getting ready to launch our new school/home communication app Connect Us.  This is already being successfully used by a number of Highland schools.  As you are already maybe aware See Saw will finish on 31st January 2022.  We have all enjoyed using See Saw however we look forward to the new and more cost effective app. Details on how to sign up will follow in due course.

School Meals

We are delighted that universal eligibility has been extended to P5 who are now able to have a school lunch free of charge.  You can check out the menu in advance by following this link:

Central Two Centuries

We resume our partnership with Eden Court and Highland Archive Centre later this month as we continue with our 200th anniversary project Central Two Centuries.

This term we will post some of the “Learn with Lorna” video links that the children will be accessing over the next few months.  This week the links are for an introduction to the Archive Centre.

If you are unable to join us on the day then you can access the video on Highland Highlife Youtube channel afterwards.
