RECYCLE YOUR CRISP PACKETS
Every year countless pieces of crisp packets end up in landfill sites across the UK.
We are working with TerraCycle® to put an end to this enormous loss of resources.
The Crisp Packet Recycling Scheme allows us to recycle your crisp packets and prevent them from ending up in landfill.
Not only are you helping the environment, but the waste you recycle with us also helps to fund schools or organisations.
We will be collecting crisp packets until 1st of April. The children attended a short assembly today to hear all about it and know where to put their packets. Some pupils from P6 will collect these at break and lunch time.
Parent Evenings will take place on Tuesday 19th March and Thursday 21st March.
Appointment Letters were sent home today. Please check schoolbags and return the slip by Monday 11th March.
We have Scholastic Book Fair coming to school this week.
All classes will have a chance to browse the Fair on Wednesday 6th March.
Purchases and orders can be placed on Thursday. If there isn’t enough stock we will place an order 🙂
The Book Fair will be open for parents to browse on Thursday 7th March from 2.30pm-3.30pm. This will be in the Community Room.

Some of the P1 and the ELCC pupils visited the Children’s Ward at Raigmore hospital on Friday 7th December. They sang some Christmas Carols and were surprised when Val, one of the nurses brought them each two gifts. They received a Christmas Bopper to wear on their heads and a Christmas pencil and rubber. The visit was finished off with a well-earned drink of juice and a biscuit.
The residents of Ach An Eas Care Home were entertained on Wednesday 5th December by the Primary 1 and Nursery pupils Christmas carol performance. The feedback from residents and staff is that they would love to have us back again some time. During our visit the pupils enjoyed some refreshments of juice and biscuits after all their hard work. Everyone had a fantastic time. The Nursery Pupils made a Thank You card and the Primary 1 pupils made Christmas cards to show their appreciation. Here is a picture of the cards.
Keep an eye out in the Highland News and Inverness Courier for photos of the event.
