Health Stations

There was a great atmosphere around the school yesterday as the children participated in a variety of stations for Health Week.

The stations consisted of:

  • Sun Safety
  • Dance
  • Relaxation with Jan Barclay from Rejuvenate Your Mind
  • Mindfulness
  • Health Songs
  • Circuits
  • Running
  • Food Preparation and Hygiene
  • SkipZone


Preventing Poverty in the Early Years

Ms MacDonald from the Preventing Poverty Project will be in school tomorrow from 2pm for free, impartial advice.

This service offers advice to families on financial health matters such as childcare costs, income maximisation, welfare benefits, family entitlements, money and debt advice, budgeting, banking and lots more. The project can also help with completing forms and applying for School Clothing Grants and Free School Meals.

Sponsored Walk around the islands.

If you are able to join us please come to the school office for 1pm. We will be leaving at 1.15pm


The children will be participating in a range of Health Stations run by staff such as relaxation, food preparation and hygiene, sun safety and more.


Pupils can wear sports/casual wear on Thursday instead of school uniform. All pupils will be participating in a workshop run by FitKidz.

Nursery Sports in the afternoon.


Sports Day at 1pm.


Classes will be completing their own health activities throughout the week as well as the above activities.
