28 schools from across Highland Council, and with representation from all four areas of Highland, came together to take part in the SEET Euroquiz competition that is open to P6 pupils across Scotland.

The Central Primary Team had a geography round, a languages round, a round on ‘Understanding Europe’ and a final round on History, culture, sport and general knowledge.

Well done P6!!!!

P1 Parents Evening

Unfortunately Mrs McMillan is unwell today. Mrs Gibson, who knows the children, will be covering the class today.

If you have a parents evening appointment for tonight, Thursday 15th March, this will be rearranged when Mrs McMillan is back.

Thank you for your understanding.

Creative Writing Club

Creative Writing Club will be cancelled on Tuesday 13th of March due to parents evening. The last session will take place on 20th of March.

It will restart after the holidays on Tuesday 1st May.

Thank you.

P1/2 Trial Dojo app

P1/2 have invited parents to download the Dojo reward app to let them keep up with their child’s success in class.

The children are given Dojo points in class which they can then use to get a reward.

Parents will be able to use the app to find out how their child is progressing each week.

The app is not for communication with the school, but to allow each parent to see how their own child is doing.

Super day to end a Super Week

Children in P1, P1/2 and P2 dressed up as superheroes to celebrate the end of Safe Strong and Free Highland Hero Week.

All of the children had a great week celebrating super and everyday heroes.

Classes spoke about what makes a hero and agreed that not all heroes wear capes!

Costumes included Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman as well as many homemade heroes.

Mr Knox even got in on the act, wearing a full kilt to show he is a true Highland Hero!
