Kirking of the Council

We were delighted to take part in the traditional ceremony Kirking of the Council on Sunday 9th September.  We took part in the parade through the city to The Old High Church and enjoyed refreshments at the Town House after the church service.

Olivia and Harley are P7 ‘stars of the week’ but it was very difficult to choose as all pupils have worked hard and aproached their learning with a positive attitude.

Please click on the link below to find out what we are learning about this term.

Term 1 P7

Here are some reflections from the pupils.

“We’ve had great fun with our new teacher. I’ve enjoyed the tasks that we’ve been given.”

“I’ve enjoyed going to swimming again because I have got better than last year.”

“I enjoyed helping do the weeding in the garden. The garden looks so much better.”

“I’m looking forward to getting to know my teacher even more. I have enjoyed doing lots of activities and keeping active.”

“I have liked going swimming again because it is fun.”

“I have loved being with my buddies and getting to know them better.”

“I liked creating our silhouettes in art.” (Once these have been completed we will pop them on the blog for you to see.)

We aim yo update our blog regularly so please check in 🙂

P7 Swimming

We have had a great start to the term already and the pupils are excited for all of the exciting opportunities P7 will bring.

P7  will have swimming lessons on a Friday morning throughout this term. This will begin tomorrow.

Please ensure pupils have their swimming kit with them.

We need to be changed and at poolside for 9.30am, therefore could I ask the pupils to be in school sharp please?

Please help us spread the word.

Thank you,

Mrs Gibb
