We have Scholastic Book Fair coming to school this week.
All classes will have a chance to browse the Fair on Wednesday 6th March.
Purchases and orders can be placed on Thursday. If there isn’t enough stock we will place an order 🙂
The Book Fair will be open for parents to browse on Thursday 7th March from 2.30pm-3.30pm. This will be in the Community Room.

Where: Inverness Museum.
Who/when: The P1 pupils (including the P1 pupils from P1/2): Tuesday 15th January 2019.
Who/when: The P2 pupils (including the P2 pupils from P2/3): Thursday 17th January 2019.
Time: depart from school – 9.30 a.m. and return by 12 noon.
The pupils will take their snack and have that on arrival at the museum.
There will be a guided tour and some activities for the pupils to participate in during our visits. Although the exhibition is free, to cover the cost of the Guide we would appreciate if all parents could pay £2 each. This can be paid to the school office or directly to the class teacher.
If you have not already paid the £2 to cover the cost of this trip could you please pay by Monday 14th January 2019?
Please can you make sure that your child has appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather conditions on the day?
If any parents would like to help assist us during our trip to the Inverness Museum on Tuesday 15th January or Thuesday 17th January, please inform Mrs McMillan or Miss Cardoso. We will be on trip from 9.30 a.m. to approx. 12noon.
We would also appreciate some help with heating up and serving food at our Burns Ceilidh on Friday 25th January. If you are free and able to help between 1 and 2.30 p.m. please inform Mrs McMillan, Miss Cardoso, Mrs Simpson, Ms Traill or Mrs Wilson.
Also, we would appreciate any visits from parents who would like to come in to class and share any of their skills/talents to the class, including sharing information about their job.
Thank you so much to everyone who came along and supported our first ‘Movie Night’. There was such a lovely atmosphere and it has certainly helped us feel more festive!

HCVF have been extremely kind and have offered to let us borrow the screen and equipment next week at our second showing on Wednesday 12th December.

Tickets cost £2 (popcorn and a juice is included in the cost)
Doors open at 6.15pm. Film will begin at 6.30pm, finishing approximately 8pm.
