P6 and P7 pupils welcomed a special Visitor from the Scottish Parliament this week.
The children learned what matters are devolved in Scotland and the names of the major Scottish parties. They took part in a debate about the speed limit near schools.
Their votes will be presented to the debating chamber.
Thank you so much to everyone who came along and supported our first ‘Movie Night’. There was such a lovely atmosphere and it has certainly helped us feel more festive!

P7 have had a very busy few weeks back this term. They have been working hard.
This week some of our P7 pupils had the opportunity to join the Highland Multicultural Friends Groups for some cooking demonstrations. All P7 pupils will have a chance to join in with this over the next couple of weeks.

Term 2 P7
We will aim to pop up a blog post on a Friday with some key highlights from our week. We completed some art for WW1 but we are keeping our pictures a secret until our sharing assembly. These will be posted on the blog next week for you to see.
P7 pupils went to deliver poppy seeds to our local businesses today. It was great to go out and meet everyone. We also spoke with businesses and told them about our residential fundraising and some businesses have been very kind and offered some raffle prizes. We would like to say a big Thank You to them!

On Friday afteroon P7 held a Bake Sale during our Playground Grand Opening.
Thank you to the pupils, families and staff who baked lots of lovely treats for our sale.
There was a great turnout and the P7 pupils were super at selling and providing customer servic.
The pupils raised an amazing £295. Thank you for purchasing our yummy treats and for your support.
After hearing about our bake sale and fundraising ideas we have received 2 very generous donations over the weekend taking our total to £350!!
What a super start to our residential trip fundraising. Thank you all and well done P7.
