Welcome back! I hope you have enjoyed your summer break.
P6 have settled well and worked hard to follow the school rules.
The children had a very productive first week – we focused on team building and we spoke what welcoming and effective listening looks like and sounds like. This will help us to build stronger and more secure relationships.
We have started numeracy and literacy assessments to ensure that we know what the children need to learn in order to make progress.
Homework will start on Week 3, Tuesday 4th September.
Be assured that I will do my best to make this school year an enjoyable time for your child, but also a time filled with real learning. It will be a year of magical wonder and amazing growth.
